“Deal agreed”: English centre-half finally set to leave Man Utd to Premier League side

Teden Mengi leave Manchester United to join Luton Town

Manchester United youngster Teden Mengi is leaving the club in this summer’s transfer window.

The young Englishman is reported to join new Premier League side Luton Town.

Academy graduate Mengi leaves Manchester United

Teden Mengi has been sold to the new team in the Premier League Luton Town F.C.

The player is one of the players alongside Phil Jones, Brandon Williams, and Axel Tuanzebe who was ‘axed’ by Ten Hag following the welcome of new signings like Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund.

These players were forced to use U-23 facilities since the main room has a capacity of 24 players. This shows that they are nowhere near Ten Hag’s game plan.

Another youngster who could be leaving for Luton is Tuenzabe as the 25-year-old player has trained with the Hatters in an effort to get a contract from Rob Edwards.

Phil Jones and Brandon Williams have already left the club this transfer window.

Reportedly, Ten Hag was forced to cut ties with many current players after the signing of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, and many more.

Mengi’s career at Manchester United has been full of injuries due to which he was not sold earlier. His last appearance in the main team was back in 2021.

The transfer will be good for him since he will receive much more game time at Luton than at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils want to bring in players

Manchester United have been looking active this whole transfer window. They have had some great signings which include the signing of Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund.

Ten Hag has also been looking at players like Amrabat, Hojbjerg, Marc Cucurella, and many more.

Manchester United have been facing issues with Casemiro since there is no competitor to challenge him for his position.

To fix this issue, Manchester United are looking to sign Sofyan Amrabat and Ryan Gravenberch. The Red Devils might hijack Liverpool target Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for a defensive midfielder.

With the departure of players like Mengi, Brandon Williams, and many more, Ten Hag receives funds and spaces to bring in new players to the club.
