Andre Onana bids goodbye to Inter Milan and is all set to Join Manchester United

In recent developments, Andre Onana has been spotted arriving at the training complex of Inter Milan to bid farewell to the club as Manchester United awaits his arrival.

Last night, the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano raise the eyelids of Man United fans by typing in his famous phrase ‘here we go’.

Thus, this was enough to know that a deal is done and finally the Red Devils will welcome the long-awaited arrival of Andre Onana.

The Old Trafford outfit have reportedly reached an agreement with the Serie A club over a deal for their shot-stopper.

As per the reports, the transfer will be announced by the 20-time English Champions later this week.

The future of the 27-year-old has been extensively discussed in recent weeks, with Manchester United seeing him as the ideal replacement for David de Gea, who has already left the club on a free transfer.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Inter agreed on a cost on Sunday evening, and the club is now compiling the final paperwork before the custodian travels to Manchester for a medical.

As per Romano, the former Cameroon international will sign a five-year contract with the option of an additional year, and he will join the team on their pre-season tour of the United States.

According to the Daily Mail, the sum for Onana will be roughly £43 million, including add-ons, which is less than the fee Inter first paid the English giants for his services.

Onana bids farewell to Inter Milan

According to FC Inter News, Onana was present this morning at the Appiano Gentile sports centre, where Inter Milan trains, before flying to England.

A video of Onana signing autographs for a group of young fans was uploaded by the Italian publication.

During the 2022-23 season, Onana was in excellent form for Inter, appearing 41 times in all competitions and managing 19 clean sheets.

The custodian was instrumental in the Milan Giants reaching the Champions League final last season, keeping eight clean sheets in 13 games.

Unfortunately, the Cameroonian international couldn’t finish his spell for Milan with a European trophy as the Premier League champions secured their first-ever UCL title.

Soon the United fans can see Onana donning the Red Devils’ New Jersey with the goalkeeper expected to make his debut against Arsenal in a pre-season friendly on July 22.
