Flying PL winger reveals his secret love for Manchester United

Jarrod Bowen loves Manchester United star

Manchester United boasts a vast and passionate global fanbase, with supporters hailing from various corners of the world.

Many generations of fans have grown up devoted to the renowned club, and some of them have even made their way into the Premier League.

Jarrod Bowen, the West Ham United forward, recently shared on the Sky Sports YouTube channel that he was one of these young fans influenced by Manchester United.

Jarrod Bowen loved this Manchester United star

He particularly admired David Beckham, and as a boy, he used to attend games at Old Trafford after school.

“I loved David Beckham growing up. I used to go to games after school, I remember I used to leave at about 4pm from Hereford and then go to the games,”

Said Bowen.

Bowen’s journey to the Premier League has been quite remarkable, having transferred from Hull City to West Ham in the winter of 2020.

Since his move to London, Bowen has showcased his talent, scoring the winning goal in The Hammers’ Europa Conference final last season and earning a spot in the England squad.

While there are no concrete rumors about Bowen making a dream move to Manchester United, his continued excellent performances may open up exciting possibilities for his career.

Michail Antonio revelas Bowen’s price tag

His West Ham teammate, Michail Antonio, has put a hefty £60 million price tag on Bowen to deter potential suitors.

Antonio highlights Bowen’s English nationality and his ability to score goals consistently as reasons for this valuation.

“He’s English, scores goals for fun. If he’s going it’s got to be £60 million,”

Said Antonio.

There have been recent reports that Bowen might not be the only player from Manchester United to consider a move to West Ham, as the club is reportedly keeping an eye on the availability of Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has been out of action for United since his social media dispute with Erik ten Hag last month and is expected to depart the club in January.

As for Bowen, he will be looking to deliver another strong performance at home against Everton, while Manchester United gears up for an exciting derby against Manchester City at Old Trafford.
