Hojlund joined the Red Devils in a £72 million deal this summer making it the club’s most expensive U-21 signing ever.

Rasmus Hojlund will shine at United according to Gary Lineker

Hojlund is expected to have a great career at Manchester United as per the former England forward.

The striker had his first 90-minute game for the Red Devils on Saturday against Burnley which they won 1-0.

Lineker praises Hojlund’s movement and being an iconic striker himself for Tottenham Hotspur, he spoke positively about the Danish youngster and his talents.

I have watched him in his first two or three games and he has only scored one goal, against Bayern, but he looks to me like he will score goals. I like his movement.”

Hojlund’s transfer was questioned after United failed to capture Harry Kane from Tottenham, who eventually ended up selling him to Bayern Munich.

The former Atalanta forward has scored only once this season but his movements and playstyle are more than enough to impress the Spurs legend.

The 20-year-old bagged his first goal in the Champions League against Bayern Munich which the visitors lost 4-3.

Pundits applaud Hojlund despite less playtime

Many pundits are expecting big things from Rasmus Hojlund.

Pundit Danny Murphy also lauded Hojlund for his space-making skill.

“The goal in midweek will do him the world of good and while he didn’t score today, he got into positions that I always think strikers should be in.

On another day, he would score because he keeps making really good runs. There are a lot of positives for him.”

Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel is also impressed with Rasmus and reckons that the club has never got a player of his caliber.

“He’s got complete and utter unfulfilled potential. I don’t think we’ve ever had a player like him.”

The Denmark International is just at the start of his career but many pundits believe that he might be the striker that Manchester United were looking for all this time.
