Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo needs to wait for his Premier League.

The youngster featured in the pre-season matches and got injured during their match against Real Madrid.

Mainoo has been missing throughout the start of the Premier League due to an ankle injury incurred during the match against Real Madrid. The youngster might be the answer to Manchester United’s midfielder problems.

Mainoo was seen as a potential breakthrough star of Manchester United’s youth academy after impressing Ten Hag in the pre-season.

It is quite clear that the young star is going to be utilized this season by Ten Hag after he returns from injury.

The 18-year-old player has a lot of pressure since the fans believe that he is the solution.

Youngster’s return from injury

Kobbie Mainoo still has a long time left before he can represent the Red Devils this season.

Ten Hag already confirmed that Mainoo will play for Manchester United this season.

Man United’s midfield is already an issue for them this season.

They have made excellent new signings in Amrabat and Mason Mount but both are yet to make an appearance for the club this Premier League season.

The midfielders are injured and it is a huge concern for Ten Hag.

Mainoo featured the 20-time English Champions in a game against Leeds United in the pre-season in which he played outstandingly and impressed everyone.

However, according to Nick Cox, he is yet to reach his full potential.

“He seems to be, so far, taking all the challenges that come his way. But he has a long way to go.”
