Liverpool ‘agree terms’ with £25.8m midfielder who has snubbed Man Utd to finalize move to Anfield

Andre Trindade to Liverpool not Manchester United

Liverpool agrees on terms with Brazilian player Andre Trindade from Fluminense, a target for Manchester United as well.

A verbal agreement has been reached between the club and the player.

Andre accepts Liverpool Offer?

Liverpool are looking for a midfielder after failing to sign Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. Although the Fluminense midfielder has agreed on personal terms with the Reds but the Brazilian club has rejected a £25m offer from the Merseyside club.

After Fabinho left for Saudi, the Liverpool midfield has been in chaos. They almost lost their whole midfield in this summer’s transfer market.

With legends like Henderson and Milner leaving, Liverpool might have their backbone. This puts a lot of pressure on Klopp who needs experience and depth in the midfield.

With players like McAllister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and many more, there seems no base for the players. However, after signing Wataru Endo, the Premier League club have got one option for the defensive position in their ranks.

But the Reds are looking to add more options in case they might suffer any injury crisis.

Manchester United in Danger with Andre going to Liverpool?

If Andre goes to Liverpool, this move might give a huge blow to the Red Devils.

Manchester United are looking for a midfielder so that Casemiro gets support but they are now in huge trouble after the Brazilian agreed terms with their arch-rivals.

This calls for an urgent decision to sign Sofyan Amrabat who was the first priority for signing for a holding midfielder.

Liverpool are also rumored to be interested in signing Amrabat but it seems unlikely. The Moroccan has said that he wants to play for the Red Devils.

The 20-time English Champions do not have sufficient funds as of now to afford Amrabat so the transfer is getting delayed.

Andre – A missed opportunity

The Fluminense player had an incredible season in Brazil’s Serie A with a pass completion rate of 93% moreover with a successful tackle rate of 63%.

The Rio club does not want the player to leave the club as he is a vital part of the team and has contributed to their campaigns in Brazil.

The Brazilian is still not allowed to leave the club since they are competing and hoping to win the Conmebol Libertadores title.

The player fits perfectly in the Liverpool’s team as they have been looking for a holding midfielder. Also, Klopp will now be less worried about their midfield if this signing goes forward. But definitely it’s a missed opportunity for Man United.
