Man Utd are thrilled as a European team “accepts £60 million payment” for the top striker target of Ten Hag

Randal Kolo Muani to Manchester United

Manchester United are in the race with Bayern Munich to sign French sensation Kolo Muani. The asking price seems to be a ray of good news as the management feels positive.

According to reports, Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt and Erik ten Hag’s coaching team are ‘eager’ for Manchester United to recruit him before Bayern Munich does.

According to several reports, Man Utd’s top objective this summer is to bring in one or two new attackers before the start of the following year.

Kolo Muani has become a possibility as a result of his outstanding 2022–2023 first season with Frankfurt. He made 46 appearances for the Bundesliga team after arriving on a free transfer from Nantes in 2022, scoring 23 goals and dishing out 17 assists.

What the report says about Kolo Muani

Due to his performance, the 24-year-old made his senior debut for France. This week, it was reported that United are “serious” about signing him this summer and that he may cost £86 million, add-ons included.

The likelihood that United will sign their desired striker has been revealed by a thorough article by The Daily Mail. ‘United’s technical staff are said to be eager’ to recruit Kolo Muani.

The report says:

‘The club could face competition from Bayern Munich if they follow up their interest.

Muani’s valuation is quite high but Frankfurt are prepared to accept an initial payment of £50-60m for a player who cost nothing when he moved to Germany from Nantes last summer.

After United moved their focus away from Harry Kane of Tottenham, Kolo Muani may be the best choice.

Harry Kane deal seems to be difficult to pull off

Ten Hag is well known to be a major fan of Kane, but a deal is challenging since Spurs are holding out for £100 million even though his contract is set to expire the following year.

Despite Tottenham’s miserable 2022–23 campaign, Kane still managed to score 30 goals in 38 league games for the North London club.

The Daily Mail article also notes that United would not change their mind about signing Kane “unless Tottenham are prepared to drop their asking price.”
