Man Utd could’ve saved millions as Prem winner has deal ripped up on deadline day

Kasper Schmeichel to Manchester United

Manchester United could have saved millions if they had signed Kasper Schmeichel on transfer deadline day.

Schmeichel recently parted ways with his former club OGC Nice on Friday and is currently a free agent.

Many clubs like Scottish side Celtic F.C are already interested in signing the Danish goalkeeper.

Schmeichel Legacy at Manchester United

Kasper Schmeichel is the son of former Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel. If United had waited for a few days and had not signed Altay Bayindir, they could have saved millions not doing the transfer.

The 20-time English Champions signed Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce for £4.3m as their backup goalkeeper option.

The Red Devils were looking for a backup goalkeeper after the departure of Dean Henderson. They would have been greatly benefitted financially if Schmeichel landed at Old Trafford.

If there was an opening now for Schmeichel, he would arrived at United and would have wanted to continue his father’s legacy.

At present, Schmeichel has been linked with clubs like Newcastle and it will be considered as a good transfer for The Magpies.

Bayindir is the new backup for Onana

Manchester have finally signed Altay Bayindir for £4.3m from Fenerbahce. They will relived with this signing after the departure of their previous backup Dean Henderson.

Dean Henderson has moved to Crystal Palace as he did not want to play as a second option for the club.

Andre Onana is the new No.1 for The Red Devils who has been impressive with his performances.

“He had very good saves, was very calm, very good debut.”

Ten Hag said about Onana and his debut against Wolves

Altay Bayindir also has the same playstyle as Onana which will make it easier for Erik Ten Hag to switch players without changing his gameplan.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have completed the transfer of Sofyan Amrabat to Old Trafford which sets them in a great position going further in the present season.

The Red Devils look stronger than last season and look determined to accomplish great things this season.
