Man Utd are in the final stages of an exciting loan deal with a buy-back option for a young starlet winger with a Spanish club.

Man Utd Advances Loan Deal as Hannibal Mejbri Heads to Sevilla

Manchester United have finalized a deal to send Hannibal Mejbri on loan to La Liga club Sevilla, marking a significant step in the transfer process.

The agreement between the two clubs has been completed, and the midfielder was seen at Sevilla airport on Sunday night, suggesting the deal is progressing.

The move could potentially mark the end of Mejbri’s tenure at Old Trafford, as the loan arrangement includes an option for Sevilla to make the transfer permanent.

The player’s journey to Spain indicates the imminent medical examination, further solidifying the advancement of this transfer deal.

Red Devils Loans Mejbri to Sevilla with Buy-Back Option

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Sevilla have reached an agreement for Hannibal Mejbri’s loan with an option to buy, and United are expected to include a buy-back clause.

The Daily Mail reports that the option for Sevilla to buy Mejbri in the summer is set at £17.5 million.

Mejbri, who joined United in 2019 from Monaco for a reported deal of up to £9.3 million, is heading to Sevilla after rejecting interest from other English clubs.

This loan move provides the young midfielder with an opportunity for more playing time and development.

The inclusion of a buy-back clause suggests United aims to retain future control over Mejbri, emphasizing their long-term plans for the talented player.

Mejbri Young winger, From Old Trafford to Sevilla Stint

At just 16 when he arrived at Old Trafford, Mejbri showcased his skills in the youth teams before making his senior debut in May 2021 against Wolves.

A loan spell with Birmingham City in the Championship followed, where he gained valuable experience, making 41 appearances with one goal and six assists.

Although he has only played 13 times for United’s senior team, with five appearances in the Premier League this season, he has struggled for consistent playing time.

Despite interest from Everton, Sevilla has secured the loan move for the talented youngster.

With his contract set to expire in the summer, United opted for a 12-month extension, confirming the decision earlier this month under manager Erik ten Hag.
