Folarin Balogun to Manchester United

Manchester United eye Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun as potential striker target under Erik ten Hag’s management.

The Red Devils’ pursuit of a new striker has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with Arsenal’s young talent Folarin Balogun catching their attention.

Under the management of Erik ten Hag, United seemed keen on signing the highly-rated 22-year-old, as he featured on their shortlist of potential targets.

Balogun’s impressive loan spell at Stade Reims, where he scored 22 goals in 39 games across all competitions, has undoubtedly raised his stock and attracted interest from several clubs.

Despite the initial interest, The Independent reports that a move to Manchester United for Folarin Balogun is not seen as a realistic possibility.

Instead, it appears that he may be more likely to join one of the Serie A giants, AC Milan or Inter Milan, should he depart from the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are reportedly demanding £50 million for the USMNT star, but negotiations over the transfer fee are expected as potential suitors seek to secure his services.

Ian Wright Believes Balogun Can Thrive at Arsenal if he doesn’t come to Manchester United

Ian Wright, a legendary figure at Arsenal, has expressed his hope that Balogun will fulfill his potential at his boyhood club.

Having witnessed the striker’s scintillating form in France during his loan spell, Wright believes that Balogun can replicate that success in the Premier League, provided he receives the right support and service.

He told the Wrighty’s House podcast in March:

“Hopefully, he can come back to Arsenal at some stage and prove himself.

He’s gone to another level in confidence. I think anywhere he goes in aspect of leagues, he’ll do what he is doing [in France] with the right service.

It’s the way he’s taking those chances. His head space is at a different place right now. He knows he can do it right now.

I guarantee you if he comes back, he probably picks up from what he’s doing in that league.”

The young forward has returned to Arsenal for pre-season, knowing that competition for a spot in Mikel Arteta’s attacking lineup will be fierce, given the presence of players like Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Eddie Nketiah.

Man Utd Pursue Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund with £51 Million Offer

In the meantime, Manchester United are moving forward with other targets, and their top priority is reportedly Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

The club has offered a deal worth £51 million for the Danish striker and is in the process of advancing talks to secure his signature.

However, if the deal for Hojlund falls through, United have an alternative option in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani.

However, as the summer transfer window progresses, fans and football enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating how the transfer saga will unfold, with United and other interested clubs vying for the services of promising talents like Folarin Balogun.

With each passing day, the football world remains abuzz with excitement and speculation, as teams prepare for the upcoming season with high hopes and aspirations for success.
