United looking for a double deal as they try to rebuild the squad

Erik ten Hag is allegedly setting up two more signings for Manchester United this month as he plans the next stage of his reconstruction. Due to the addition of six new players, the Red Devils’ manager was permitted to spend more than £200 million over the summer. Even if money is a little tighter in the January transfer window, a deal to loan Wout Weghorst is almost complete.

The 6-foot-6 attacker could not be Old Trafford’s sole newcomer this month, though. And according to sources, the club is negotiating two additional signings before the month is up.

Ten Hag’s plans for United

Ten Hag is still looking to expand his alternatives right back, according to sources. The club is prepared to part ways with Aaron Wan Bissaka even if securing a new contract for Diogo Dalot is their first priority. In spite of the fact that the former Crystal Palace employee has recently been involved, they are apparently ready to let him go given reports that Wolves are leading the search.

United will attempt to entice them with a proposal that is less than what they are asking for, though, as they believe a deal could be made for less. Ten Hag wants to reinforce two additional areas at Old Trafford in addition to adding a new right-back.

Even if Weghorst’s hiring is just temporary, this summer will see moves for a new star striker. Ten Hag allegedly has three people on his wanted list as a result. He also has to sign a new goalie immediately. There are increasing rumors that David De Gea will sign an extension at a significantly lower salary.
