Mbappe going to Manchester United next summer?

With the transfer season coming to an end, Manchester United aims at signing French superstar Kylian Mbappe from PSG this summer.

Many clubs have joined in the race to sign him alongside Real Madrid. La Liga Giants were one of the frontrunners in signing the French world cup winner this season.

Moreover, even Saudi clubs aimed at Mbappe this summer but he turned them down. As the Frenchman made it clear that he wants to play in Europe.

Real Madrid Wants Mbappe

Real Madrid have been in the race to sign the French superstar for a long time now and reports even suggest that the PSG forward has agreed to join them for free next summer.

The Frenchman is now on the priority list of targets for the Spanish giants after the departure of Karim Benzema to Saudi this season.

However, Kylian Mbappe’s mother is reported unhappy after her son’s transfer debacle and Madrid failing to pay for the transfer this time. She is disappointed and feels betrayed by the Los Blancos.

Meanwhile, Mbappe had refused to extended his contract with PSG and was out of the French capital’s first-team squad initially.

But now it all looks sorted, as Mbappe looks to spend another year at Parc des Princes and rumours suggest he might even accept another year’s contract extension with the French Champions.

Manchester United join the race

After signing Haaland last season, the Citizens are flying high and look untouchable.

Maybe to counter a world-class striker, Manchester United needs to have one of their own. Thus, they tried to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham but the Englishman’s club was not interested to sell him in England.

With Højlund signing this summer, Manchester United do not want to put all pressure on the young Dutchman.
