Scott McTominay was linked with multiple clubs this summer but unlikely the transfer didn’t happen.

Yesterday, Manchester United reached an agreement with Sofyan Amrabat which makes it tougher for the Scotsman to make it to the first team.

Despite this, Ten Hag believes in McTominay, and for him, he is too valuable to lose. The £40 million midfielder is considered a unique profile for the Dutch manager.

The 26-year-old midfielder has fewer chances of making the squad as a first-team player after Amrabat’s presence at Old Trafford. But no one can deny that McTominay is a good option off the bench for the manager.

The midfielder might complain about less playtime and it may lead to him getting transferred in the winter transfer window.
