Rashford then came close to making it 2-2 right away, but Ramsdale successfully stopped his strong attempt inside the penalty box. A few minutes later, though, the goalkeeper undone all of his hard work when he mishandled a corner and Lisandro Martinez capitalized to tie the score.

As the game approached the hour mark, Arsenal had chances to retake the lead, but strong defence and bad finishing prevented them from doing so, much to the chagrin of an irate Mikel Arteta on the sidelines.

As the game approached its conclusion, the league leaders controlled possession and gradually pulled their opponents back, but the visitors continued to pose a threat on the break.

When a wayward ball from a free kick dropped perfectly to Nketiah with six minutes remaining in regulation, he had a great chance to score his second and his team’s third, but David de Gea made a great stop to keep it from happening.
