Price Tag Revealed by Romano for Serie A Midfielder, Man United Allegedly Agreed

Sofyan Amrabat to Man United

Journalist Romano suggests Amrabat could join Man United after reaching an agreement, leaving fans hopeful.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, there is growing confidence that Sofyan Amrabat will move away from Fiorentina this summer.

Recent reports suggest that the talented midfielder has agreed in principle with Manchester United.

This development has left the Red Devils’ supporters optimistic about their upcoming transfer activities.

Manchester United have been actively pursuing Mason Mount from Chelsea, and negotiations are progressing well as the deal could be considered almost done with just the official announcement remaining.

Amrabat Emerges as Man United Targets

With Scott McTominay’s and Fred’s potential departures looming, Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is keen to reinforce his midfield options.

Recent reports from Italy indicated that Amrabat has already agreed with Manchester United on personal terms, but the two clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee.

However, Romano suggests that the Italian club will likely demand a higher fee for the Moroccan international.

Fiorentina CEO Denies Amrabat Bids as Romano Estimates Midfielder’s Cost

Romano clarified that Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone denied receiving any bid or proposal for Amrabat.

Romano wrote in the Caught Offside column:

“Despite some reports in Italy, Fiorentina have denied Manchester United agreeing on terms with Sofyan Amrabat. Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone said: ‘We have not received any bid or proposal for him. He’s a Fiorentina player now. If an offer comes, we will consider it.’

I’m told his cost is around €35/40m. He’s a fantastic player, as we saw in particular with his performances with Morocco at the World Cup, so I’m sure things will happen in the following months.

Now is time for super top midfielders to move, like Rice; then a new moment of the domino will come. Barcelona have had a past interest, and even had a loan offer turned down in January, but are focused on Oriol Romeu now, a less expensive option.”

Romano also mentioned that Barcelona had shown interest in Amrabat in the past and had a loan offer rejected in January.

However, the Catalan club is pursuing Oriol Romeu, considered a more affordable option.

He is doing well at Fiorentina. You are not going to trade Italy for the middle bracket of the Premier League,”

The midfielder’s brother said last month.

My brother is 26 years old; he wants to go to the top. Of course, you never know, it (Saudi Arabia) will be a strong competition when you see which names are going. But my brother now has the intention to play in the top, preferably in Spain or England, I think.

I think in January (United showed interest). But Ten Hag is now looking for a striker, he wants that first. From there he will see what is possible.

But I know that Ten Hag is charmed by my brother, he broke through under him. And they have a good relationship, so who knows. “

The situation surrounding Sofyan Amrabat, who would have a potential move to Man United, is still unfolding. While an economic agreement on personal terms has been reported, the two clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee.

With Romano estimating a price tag of around €35-40 million for Amrabat, it remains to be seen whether Man United will make a formal offer for the talented midfielder in the coming months.
