Sheikh Jassim now ‘convinced’ over takeover bid at Man United

Takeover news: Man United and Sheikh Jassim

With Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani at the helm, Man United are assured of a bright future.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, a potential bidder for a takeover of Manchester United, is reportedly confident that his bid would bring a promising future to the club.

Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has exclusively revealed that Sheikh Jassim is convinced his offer is highly beneficial for the club’s long-term prospects.

Moreover, recent reports suggest that Sheikh Jassim is increasingly optimistic about becoming the preferred bidder for Manchester United’s ownership.

Nine Two Foundation’s Serious Bid and Ongoing Negotiations

They recently submitted their fifth and final bid of nearly £6 billion, signalling their seriousness in acquiring the club.

Negotiations are ongoing, involving multiple parties, including Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Despite the keen interest from various suitors, CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has revealed that Sheikh Jassim is firmly in contention to secure the ownership of Manchester United.

Sheikh Jassim has a Vision for Man United and his Future

Fabrizio Romano stated that Sheikh Jassim firmly believes he can steer Manchester United towards progress and success if granted control of the club.

However, the Nine Two Foundation and Ratcliffe are facing an uncertain waiting game as the takeover process unfolds.

Romano told GIVEMESPORT:

I understand Manchester United fans being tired about the story, but it is about closing the deal. It’s on the Glazers. I think Sheikh Jassim did his best with his bid. He’s convinced his bid is very good for the future, so let’s wait and see.”

Unfortunately, it is unlikely that a new owner will be in place before the start of the upcoming Premier League season in August, according to The Times.

While the Glazer family is reportedly close to revealing the preferred bidder, the approval process and formalities could take up to 12 weeks.

This extended timeline may pose challenges for Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag, as it hampers his ability to plan transfers effectively.

However, with the uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership, the Dutchman may have limited clarity on his budget for the remaining summer transfer window.

The situation creates ambiguity for the club’s manager, affecting his transfer plans.
