Glazers trying to play the patient game in the United takeover

Manchester United’s current owners are trying to play the patient game in the process of takeover.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani made his sixth offer to buy the club from the Glazers and the fans can’t rule it out.

The Red Devils takeover hopeful Sheikh Jassim may have shot himself in the foot on his quest to get control of the club.

The Qatari banker’s team have repeatedly signalled that their final proposal is on the table only to which the Glazers raise the stakes.

However, the Sheikh has now given his final ultimatum to the Glazers leaving them no choice.

United’s takeover process has been going on for almost a year now.

Man Utd fans are desperately waiting for their infamous owners to leave and have someone new who can run the club properly.

Glazers have been criticized publicly and slogans like ‘Glazers Out’, ‘Fight greed, Fight Glazers, Fight for United ‘ have been chanted all around the world by the Red Devils fans.

Sheikh Jassim vs Sir Jim Ratcliffe for Manchester United

Sheikh Jassim is in competition with British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe in the process of taking over the 20-time English Champions.

Glazers have raised their asking price to £6 billion which neither of the parties have met.

The asking price has repeatedly been raised by the Glazers all because of the former Qatar Prime Minister submitting final offers every time he is bidding.

But Sheikh Jassim twice increased his bid after allegedly handing the Glazers a take-it-or-leave-it offer to remain competitive with Ratcliffe.

Final offers made by both parties were reportedly worth around £5bn leaving a gap of £1bn between the asking price and offered price.

Given that the ‘final bid’ is yet to be submitted by any of the parties, United fans are still hopeful and waiting for a new era after the Glazers leave Old Trafford..
