Sofyan Amrabat Snubs Liverpool for Manchester United

Talented midfielder Sofyan Amrabat rejects Liverpool as he is keen to join Manchester United, and he is expected to leave Fiorentina this summer.

Any concrete offers for Amrabat amid intense speculation, according to Joe Barone? 

Despite the intense speculation surrounding the midfielder’s future, Fiorentina’s general manager, Joe Barone, revealed that no concrete offers have been received for Amrabat’s services. 

Barone emphasized the player’s commitment to the team and urged him to remain focused for the upcoming Serie A season.

Earlier this month, Barone told GFNI:

“He [Amrabat] is also very attached to the team and to me too, we speak in English and we talk almost every day. At the moment nothing official has arrived, I told him to come here concentrated because he is a Fiorentina player.

He must have his head here and be ready for the start of the league, then if something comes we’ll evaluate it. We have an already very strong midfield department.”

Amrabat to join Manchester United soon?

The Italian club is open to selling Amrabat for the right price, reportedly setting a €30 million asking price.

Should Manchester United be willing to meet this valuation, the transfer could materialize.

Amrabat’s decision to spurn Liverpool’s advances in favour of Manchester United comes as a blow to Jurgen Klopp’s plans to strengthen his midfield options. 

However, Klopp may now have to turn his attention elsewhere to fill the void left by potential departures.
