Sofyan Amrabat's agent provides update as Donny van de Beek looks set to leave Man United

According to Sofyan Amrabat’s agent, Amrabat to Manchester United might be off the table.

Amrabat is now frustrated with the deal getting delayed which could mean an end to the transfer saga.

Amrabat to Manchester United – A deal left undone?

Sofyan Amrabat was one of the main targets of Manchester United this season. Currently, according to reports, Fiorentina have rejected a deal from the Red Devils.

After signing players like Mason Mount, André Onana, and Rasmus Højlund, the club is now reportedly running on low funds.

The Morrocan impressed the entire world with his performance in the Qatar World Cup 2022 and helped his motherland to reach the semifinals which caught the attention of many clubs.

The likes of Atletico Madrid and Liverpool were also interested in signing the player who made the breakout in the previous year’s World Cup.

But Amrabat showed his intention to join Manchester United only. He wants to play at Old Trafford but was disappointed with how the club functioned with the transfer.

Amrabat is one of the key players whom Ten Hag wants to sign and also a player who has played under him previously.

The Moroccan played under Ten Hag during his time at F.C. Utrecht and Ten Hag is trying to bring in players whom he had played with before.

Van de Beek might depart

Van de Beek who has been waiting for an opportunity to leave the club might find his chance to do so. Manchester United have accepted a loan offer from French club F.C Lorient.

Van de Beek has only appeared for the clubs 34 times in the span of almost 3 years. He came as a special talent but is yet to display it.

With him gone, the club will receive some funds which will help them get some of their transfers like Hojbjerg and Amrabat.

Hojbjerg has also been linked with Manchester United in recent times and this makes things difficult for Donny to make it into the main team.

Van de Beek’s departure might help both the club and the player as he might receive the playtime he wants at any other club and the Red Devils will get their desired funds.
