Ten Hag sends Message to Man United star ahead of West Ham Game

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag and Marcus Rashford

Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford, struggled last season. The team scored only 18 goals in 17 Premier League games. Rashford had only 6 goal contributions in all competitions. Consequently, he lost his left-wing position to young Argentine star Alejandro Garnacho.

This season, Rashford’s shot conversion is below 10%, a result of his selfish plays, disappointing the fan base.

Manchester United Boss Sends a Message to Winger Marcus Rashford

Eric ten Hag had a meeting with a reporter ahead of the game against West Ham United this weekend. He mentioned that the Red Devils winger couldn’t play against Bayern and Liverpool due to illness.

Ten Hag expressed confidence in Rashford’s abilities, citing his 30 goals last season under him. The coach acknowledged a healthy competition with players like Garnacho stepping up their form.

“He’s training well. It can always be better, but I think he’s such an experienced player.

He’s in his mid-20s, but he’s a very experienced player, and he knows how top football works.

He knows he has to take the responsibility and I’m sure he will do that and he will line up himself.”

Red Devils Need Their Star Winger to Step Up in These Crucial Times

Man United are struggling to score goals, only four teams are doing worse, and they’re all at the bottom of the league. This is bad news for a big club like Man United, who usually aims for titles.

The 26-year-old English winger, who did well last season with 41 goal contributions in 56 games, is not playing as good this time around.

Despite that, the manager still believes in him. The team is looking for new players to help score more goals, and if Rashford starts playing better, it would be a big help. Let’s hope Marcus understands the situation and steps up.
