Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has already brought in nine players since taking over the organization in the summer. The Americans have demonstrated they are prepared to support the 52-year-old by accepting each and everyone, albeit with some hesitation in certain cases. The infamous owners are at last taking action, despite the fact that they are attempting to sell the club.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, The Glazers have hurt United more than any other group.

Some much-needed transfers

However, they have at least made the required adjustments in response to the disaster of last season by adding nine players to Ten Hag since the Dutchman’s hiring.

Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony, and Martin Dubravka were all acquired by United over the summer. They then went on to strengthen their team by signing loan agreements for Jack Butland, Wout Weghorst, and Marcel Sabitzer only in January.

Of course, the Glazers aren’t really deserving of praise. This has been long overdue, and every United manager has required it in the years since Ferguson left for the last time.

After all, David Moyes only brought in two players when he was at the club. Marouane Fellaini was a last-minute panic purchase, and United later acquired Juan Mata in January 2014 purely because Chelsea were amenable to deals.

Fellaini and Mata both had their moments for the team, but in reality, neither has the necessary talent. 2014 saw the arrival of Louis van Gaal as Moyes’ replacement, with Ed Woodward choosing to follow the Galactico path.
