Manchester United youngster Dan Gore was spotted in training before their match against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.

Man Utd will be facing Crystal Palace in the third round of the Carabao Cup which they won last year.

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag impressed with Dan Gore

The Red Devvils are in crisis due to all the injuries present in the club. The fact that both Jadon Sancho and Anthony are unavailable has not helped Ten Hag in any way.

Desperate times call for desperate measures so Erik Ten Hag is trying to find his stars among the youth team.

Dan Gore is an attacking midfielder who is expected to make his breakthrough against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.

Gore has risen through the ranks since he joined the club in 2018 and has been a star in every age group.

Manchester United are already trying to fit young players into the first team.

Players like Kobbie Mainoo and Alexandro Garnacho are vital parts of Ten Hag’s plans and Garnacho himself has been performing incredibly.

But the 19-year-old is not known for his skills or his impressive playstyle.

Dan Gore is famous for his involvement in the “furious training ground bust-up” with Anthony Martial last November.

The 19-year-old clattered Martial with a tough challenge despite tackles on established first-team members having been forbidden.

Under-21 manager and head applaud the young sensation

Manchester United U-21 manager Mark Dempsey applauded Dan Gore after their match against Arsenal in April.

“He [Gore] was really good,

I think he’s a proper footballer, good with the ball, good without the ball, and he can travel with it. His final pass has to improve for me, that’s the last bit for him, but the rest is great.

I like to see him play football because he’s one of them to get fans off their seats. He smashes into people, technically he’s fantastic and he’s been terrific all season. He’s been captain a number of times and personality-wise, he’s a quiet boy, but he’s a leader.”

Mark Dempsey told the Manchester Evening News

Manchester United U-21 academy head Nick Cox also came forward to praise the young man’s leadership abilities and highlighted his development over the years.

“He’s a leader who has come through our system from a young age, always showcasing the desired qualities and characteristics that we look to instil in each of our young players. He truly deserves this award for his determination to succeed, his support for his fellow teammates and his strong individual performances.”

Ten Hag did not let this impressive talent pass by and grabbed the opportunity to play him in the pre-season matches against Wrexham and Club Athletic.

Gore might finally be receiving his big breakthrough against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
